The olive groves cover approximately 4 acres and are cultivated organically. They are pruned annually in order to restrict and concentrate the quantity of fruit therefore giving the oil that taste typical of the Region of Chianti Classico of which Podere Consalvo is an example.

It is possible to purchase Podere Extra Virgin Olive oil and other organically  products.
There is also a garden, with produce cultivated organically, where guests may collect seasonal products.

Near the residence there is a hen coup where guests may help themselves to fresh eggs daily.
